Formed by Korean Americans. Welcoming to All.

HA:N United Methodist Church was founded by a small group of Korean American Christians looking for an alternative to evangelical and conservative theology. Now, we are multi-ethnic and LGBTQIA affirming.

Progressive & Engaged.

We believe that being a Christian encompasses more than salvation. We believe in the radical love of Jesus who fought for the marginalized and oppressed and embrace social justice work in our community.

And we are devastated by the thousands of AAPIs across the country who have been targets of violence, including the six Asian women murdered in Atlanta, Georgia on March 16, 2021. Read more

Open Minded & Affirming.

We created this video to show support for our LGBTQIA family during the UMC General Conference in 2019 where a special vote on the church’s position regarding LGBTQIA affirmation took place.
