Rev. Daniel Cho, originally hailing from Chicago, is the pastor of HA:N United Methodist Church in Manhattan in the New York Annual Conference. He has served in Indiana and North Georgia prior to his current ministry.
Gloria Fanchiang - Interim Music Director
Gloria Fanchiang (she/her) is a 2nd generation Taiwanese American music minister and songwriter from Fort Lee, NJ. She is passionate about decolonizing worship and helping Asian American communities develop contextualized worship music and liturgy. She served as a lay worship leader at Metro Community Church in Englewood, NJ for 2 years before writing and recording her debut worship album called “Remain in Your Love”. Gloria has shared her music and ministry at various local churches as well as the 2017 Progressive Asian American Christians Conference. In the summer of 2018, Gloria interned with Jorge Lockward at the Church of the Village UMC. She is currently working toward a Certificate of Christian Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. Gloria works part-time in marketing research and enjoys hiking, the beach, and going to see live music.
Samantha Chong - Children’s Ministry Teacher
Samantha Chong is currently a junior at Barnard College studying Neuroscience. She grew up in Ardsley, a small town in Westchester in New York. Her extracurricular activities at school include being a tour guide, writing for Barnard’s psych journal, being a part of Barnards activities council, and Columbia’s One-to-One tutoring program. Samantha tutored and babysat children all through high school and continues to do so while at college. As the oldest of three, she’s had a lot of experience with kids, and loves spending time with them. Samantha has done mission work in New Mexico with Hands and Feet Ministries, and in Tennessee with the Appalachia Service Project, both of which she really enjoyed.
